Using the Mark on a Dark Background

White Background: When the University Signature Mark appears on a white background, the primary configuration is the blue B logo with orange outline and the University Signature in blue.

Blue Background: When the University Signature Mark appears on a blue background, it reverses to white and the B logo runs orange.

Gray Background: When the University Signature Mark appears on a gray background, the word mark reverses to white and the B symbol runs blue.

Black Background: When the University Signature Mark appears on a black background, it reverses to white and the B logo may run blue or orange. The use of a black background is not encouraged as it it not a school color and it diminishes the impact of the University Signature Mark.

One Color Printing: In limited applications in which printing restrictions do not permit two-color usage, a grayscale or one-color blue combination can be used. The B logo reproduces at 50 percent black.


Use of Mark on photograph

When placing the Mark over a color photograph, the placement should be in an area of the photograph where there are no distracting patterns or elements.  The photograph should be visible through the logo, instead of creating a box of color around the logo.
